In the small town of Urbana, Illinois on November 14, 2004, Amelia Gimbel was
born to a mother and a father. 5 years later, she meets her little brother,
Romeo, who becomes her closest friend and enemy. Living with her three family
members, she cleans up after everyone. For K-5th, Amelia went to Prairie School,
now Dr. Williams (but will always be “Prairie” in her heart). During that time,
she enjoyed games, crafting, dancing, and singing. Middle school comes and
goes like the wind. Now, she is in dreaded junior year of high school…
APUSH and AP Lang are there to humble her while Math and Web Design are nice
subjects that make her feel competent.
After high school, Amelia plans to go to some nearby college and have the time
of her life living alone (without people to clean up after), and graduate with
a degree that can make her a helpful human being in the world, however that
may be. Outside of school, she loves to hang out with someone special and
continues her childhood hobbies of dancing and crafting.
One time, she got in trouble for leaving the house in shorts…
in the winter (reasonable). She loves boba...can you tell. And she truly believes
that everything happens for a reason, so no matter the outcome, learn from it to
grow into a better person.
